Foundation Sainte Rose De Lima
We believe that education makes all the difference in a person’s life. That is why our CEO Maya Hyppolite is Vice President of the Foundation Sainte Rose De Lima (FSRL). This special committee of alumni of a more than 150-year-old Catholic school in Haiti has educated thousands of young women.
Through our fundraising efforts, FSRL has had the privilege of sponsoring many young school girls who otherwise would not be able to afford to go to school. Every year we educate dozens of you girls and give over 800 Christmas presents to other children who, even at the age of 18, ask us for a Barbie doll, because they have never had one. When you make a purchase from Morganna’s Alchemy, you are helping send a child to school or even college. In Haiti, a single “breadwinner” supports 15 or 20 others, So when you shop with us, you not only change a young girl’s life, you change the life of her entire family.

In April 2013, Morganna’s Alchemy traveled to Haiti where we helped a team of doctors and nurses treat over 400 children. Within one week, children at Croix Des Bouquets school were vaccinated and received hygienic services.
Breakfast With Santa
Currently our CEO, Maya Hyppolite, co-chairs Breakfast for Santa, a project very close to her heart. Breakfast with Santa is a non-profit organization created by a group of Miami-based Haitian-American professionals. Breakfast with Santa has grown to reflect the cultural diversity characteristic of South Florida. All the members here share a common goal – to extend the joyful spirit of Christmas and the value of education to underprivileged children from Miami’s “Little Haiti” and “Overtown” communities, and in Haiti. Every year, BWS hosts thousands of children, ranging from ages five through twelve years old, to a fun-filled Christmas breakfast celebration where they take home new toys and memorable souvenirs, including a photo with Santa. In 2009 we extended this program into Haiti. Morganna’s Alchemy is a proud sponsor of Breakfast with Santa since 2007.
