Resveratrol, precious ally against dark spots!

There are several types of resveratrol, however only, Trans-Resveratrol is the one that is in  bio active form; this means that it is the one readily available to make a difference on your skin (Morganna’s Express spot remover)…

In other words, it is able to fight against the accumula

tion of oxidative species harmful to cell survival

The powers of this polyphenol, derived from the seeds of grapes, are few but mighty:

Powerful antioxidant:

This action gives resveratrol protective effects and anti-aging potential.

It helps protect the body and prevent premature skin aging.

Anti-inflammatory activity studies show that resveratrol can reduce inflammatory responses.

This natural anti-inflammatory property may therefore be good in fighting against chronic inflammation.

Remember, just by walking from our car to our house, there could be enough damage done by the sun to provoke this inflammation under your skin!

When, skin is deeply wrinkled, spotted, reddened, dehydrated, and weakened, the collagen and elastin fibers, constituting the extracellular matrix of the dermis, are disorganized and degraded, the skin tissues prone to inflammation.

In the skin, oxidation is a major phenomenon responsible for cell aging. It damages the skin cells both in the epidermis and the dermis and contributes to their degeneration. The antioxidant power of Resveratrol has been proven to be superior to that of vitamins C and E. A scientific study has shown that Resveratrol is 95% effective in preventing lipid peroxidation, compared to 65% for vitamin E and 37 % for vitamin C.

Fight against Free Radicals:

Resveratrol is also known to stimulate the proliferation of healthy cells and the synthesis of collagen by protecting the dermal matrix against toxic enzymes and improving the functioning of fibroblasts responsible for the production of collagen.

Antioxidants would therefore be precious allies to help the skin fight against free radicals produced in high concentration during oxidative stress. As their name suggests, antioxidants are inhibitors of oxidation and they will help remove excess free radicals from cells.

Resveratrol (trans-resveratrol) is indeed a polyphenol which is particularly active in all of our cells. It protects them from the destructive effects of free radicals. It also inhibits the oxidation processes (oxidative stress) that cause damage to our cell membranes.

In the early 1990s, the research scientist Serge Renaud was talked about in the United States by explaining the famous French Paradox. His studies tended to prove that the French were more than three times less likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease thanks to the high content of resveratrol in red wine. Since then, numerous studies on the benefits of this antioxidant have highlighted its protective action for the whole of our body.

5 great ways to use dark chocolate !

  1. Chocolate as a way to relieve stress: Studies show that consuming 40 gr of dark chocolate every day for 14 days will help lower stress hormones in most individuals.
  2. After analyzing the results of 7 studies in which 114,000 people participated, scientists from the University of Cambridge have reached a conclusion: it is sufficient to consume high-dose chocolate to reduce by 37% the risk of developing cardiovascular disease. The protective effects of dark chocolate on the cardiovascular system are mainly due to its flavonoids. They have the power: to reduce the risk of atherosclerosis, to increase the good cholesterol, to prevent the oxidation of the bad and to reduce it, to prevent blood platelets from aggregating, to improve the elasticity of the wall of the blood vessels.
  3. Chocolate contains many vitamins (B3 and C, for example) and minerals, such as manganese, magnesium, potassium, selenium and copper. There are also flavonoids, very antioxidant substances that are found in anthocyanins, these molecules that give their purple-black color to plants (blackberries, eggplants, black currants, etc.). By various chemical reactions, all these elements act as powerful antioxidants

We actually have to write about water

In the past few months, we’ve been noticing something pretty bizarre that has been going on with certain brands and people referring to water! It seems that in order to make their brand look better, they are not only promising the moon, but also make big, bold statements, about their products containing no water!!!

Is this implying that water ( the source of life) is no good? Unfortunately that is exactly what is going on. The first thing is that it usually is a bold face lie!! Just look down a bit more and see if they have added some preservatives? If so, the ingredients list is wrong, or purposely written that way. For this reason, we have listed four very important reasons why we should celebrate Water!!

Here are four reasons

  1. ELEMENT OF LIFE: Religions and myths have always attributed to water a power of fertility, of birth. Indeed, the three monotheistic religions were formed in contact with the scarcity of water perceived as a gift of God while in Greek mythologies, water gave birth to some gods like Poseidon, the god of the seas, or Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, born from the foam of waters
  2. Healing: Water is also recognized for its healing properties: it can prolong life, as evidenced by the benefits of vitalizing baths or other “miraculous” waters. Its freshness and clarity give it a renewing purifying power: an imagery materialized in the myth of the fountain of youth
  3. Source of beauty: Its purifying function makes it an excellent ally in slimming and beauty, and its benefits for the skin need no proof! Its positive action on the complexion is undeniable. The hydration it provides – making the skin more supple and smooth while protecting it from the premature appearance of wrinkles – makes it the first anti-aging care. It increases cosmetic effects by allowing the transfer of active ingredients to the heart of the skin !
  4. Source of Life: Our bodies are made of 70% water, we can go 30 days without eating, but only 3 days without water. So keep it close.

Healing with Nature:

: Alchemy is the forerunner of chemistry, based on the supposed transformation of matter. It was concerned particularly with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir.

Stopping Dry,Rough, cracked skin: How to deal with zone specific extremely dry skin!

Elbows, knees, heels … what are the common points behind these ultra-specific areas? In the first place, these are areas of intense mechanical activity: folding, pressure, friction are multiplying on the same day, causing a thickening of the skin.

These areas suffer from increased hydration deficit which weakens the skin. On the heels for example, dehydration generates a loss of flexibility which, under the weight of the body and repeated shocks (especially in summer with the wearing of open shoes) promotes the appearance of cracks and crevices. The elbows can also show painful micro-cracks.

Rough skin is visually, dry, slightly whitened looks like dandruff when it peels off “packets” of cell layers that remain adherent. This unsightly appearance can even be accompanied by redness, irritation, itching, burning

The answer? Intense Hydration therapy
